Desolate Planet - A Crash Landing Remake

This is the first version to be released on Curseforge! The release won’t be available until approved and that will likely take a few days, but it is coming soon! There were a number of changes under the hood that allowed this to happen, most notably switching to Packwiz for mod management and writing some scripts for easier deployment.

The main purpose of this update is to provide tooltips for many items that will hopefully answer some frequently asked questions. The other notable change is that the netherrack+witchwater recipe for Extruders has been removed, and netherrack and endstone can now be made with lava and liquid redstone or liquid ender, respectively.

Misc Changes:

• Added a number of informational tooltips to answer some of the most commonly asked questions on the Discord
• Disabled Survive’s tiredness module
• Disabled broken spawner drops as they are not in use

Structure Changes:

• Fixed missing loot in the farm structure
• Fixed the wrong reactor controller spawning in the Nuclear Plant

Mod Changes:

• Removed AppleSkin as it caused GPU spikes when holding food, enabled Quark’s food tooltip instead
• Removed LibIPN and CryonicConfig as they were no longer in use
• Connector files no longer ship with the modpack, as they should be automatically generated

Recipe Changes:

• Changed netherrack extruding recipe to use redstone instead of witch water
• Added end stone extruding recipe using liquid ender and water
• Disabled witch water netherrack generation, liquid redstone with an extruder is now the preferred method
• Added spinach and kale seeds to dirt sieve drops
• Increased bone meal drops from dust sieving
• Decreased diamond drops from gravel sieving
• Significantly reduced diamond drops from deepslate sieving

Quest Changes:

• Removed references to shearing upgrades in the plant gatherer quest as they are not in this version
• Tweaked submissions for the Meltdown quest to allow reactor terminals to complete it
• Crucible quest now requires a fired instead of unfired crucible
